IPSi Tool Tracking

Recently IPSi installed Tool Tracking application for a construction company that provides services for PECO Energy Company installing new electric meters for it's customers in the Philadelphia area. PECO Energy required quality assurance and accountability.

IPSi delivered a Bar Code and Access Database system solution to track the issue, return and salvage of meters. The system utilizes a Hand Held Products Dolphin 7200 scanner with rapid application development software and MS Excel to record the issuing and return of meters and associated parts. The data is transferred into an Access Database for tracking and reporting.

The automatic Data Collection and Report genreation has enabled Danella to save significant time and money through elimination of manual key entry, thus reducing errors and earning addtional business from their client.
